Our quality assurance is second to none. And we have established workflows and SOPs that assure 100% chain of custody as well as compliant and secure practices for all services provided to clients.
Quality Assurance
- Encrypted Data transfer and processing ensures all confidential data is secure.
- Proprietary data tool and CASS standardization parses out bad information and ensures all mailing data is accurate.
- Print Quality Inspection detects common corruptions including streaks, voids and registration errors.
- Videk Document Integrity ensures the printed document is clean (e.g., has no jet-outs) and, if applicable, correct perforations.
- Color Quality Monitoring inspects each page to ensure critical color quality and brand standards are met.
- MICR and Barcode Verification gives verification of optical readability to ensure seamless, accurate processing.
- Front-to-Back Matching ensures sensitive data security.
- Intelligent Inserters use cameras and 2D security codes within a closed-loop security crosscheck, ensuring the integrity of every mail packet.
- Custom Booklet Assembly Integrity monitors page-level production of individualized booklets.
- Forms Verification is an automated per-page assurance of the correct form used for the job.
- Production Reporting provides detailed analytics for proof of work, job accounting and regulatory compliance.
- Shipping Verification/Chain of Custody Document confirms a shipment is complete and is included with the shipment.
- Proprietary Tracking and Reporting software to collect step-by-step delivery information from postal facilities on your outbound mail pieces’ delivery path, allowing clients to monitor the progress of the delivery.
Compliance
- Fort Orange Press is NIST compliant ensuring that all operating procedures are in compliance with both NIST and HIPAA by testing and verifying with written confirmation based on HIPAA protocols and procedures. All employees are required to take third-party information management and HIPAA security training, among other security protocols.
- Fort Orange Press is also SOC 2 Type II compliant, tested annually
Accreditations

Since 2012, Fort Orange Press has held a G7 Master Qualified for proofing and press equipment to the G7 Standards. Based on the principles of digital imaging, spectrophotometry, and computer-to-plate technologies, developed by the company “Idealliance”. - Additionally, Fort Orange Press is Bodoni Systems-Accredited. Bodoni is another G7® Certified System that measures, controls, monitors and evaluates the color printing process for meeting the international standards.
- Being an ecologically friendly and sustainable company has always been of top priority to us. Since 2010, we have proudly held a certification by the Forest Stewardship Council® which reflects how our products “come from responsibly managed forests that provide environmental, social and economic benefits.”
